Mokomoko Designs

Fine quality pewter miniatures mounted on South Island stones,hand picked for their character. Each design represents one of New Zealand's unique species of fauna and is 100% New Zealand made. Many come with the option of including a piece of "Paua" shell in the design. This amazingly colourful shell was prized by the New Zeland Maori, both as a food source and as a decorative accent in carvings and fishing lures.
Rocks and paua pieces used are all individual, so designs will vary from the samples illustrated here.

Proceeds from the sale of Mokomoko designs help to continue valuable conservation work in New Zealand.
